Tory Burch Evil Eye Cuff
I have a friend who strongly believes in the protection of the evil eye.
She wears them daily and has had 2 charms that have spontaneously burst. She is convinced when they block the negative energy this is what happens to them then it's time to get a replacement but I have to say, no one could ever send bad energy her way because she is so wonderful. I think the breakage must have been from the compressions of hugging others so much. :)
Do you believe in the power of the evil eye or have a talisman, amulet or charm of your own?

As for your question - I feel that it has more to do with "energy" - and thus it may be quite possible that if someone is feeling jealous or malice towards an other - that negative energy is given off.
Your friend sounds wonderful ... and thus due to her warm nature she would be very susceptible to receiving energy from others positive and unfortunately negative as well.
Many Portugese and Italians put a red string on the clothing of new born babies and small children to protect them. In Kabbalah - the red string is also used against negative energy.My Greek friends and many other Europeans wear evil eye charms.
I have both the red string and evil eye charms.

I definitely like the idea of blocking negative energy, but forgive me Tory... I don't like the design of that cuff at all.
I have a ring I wear by Gracewear Collection, to remind myself of God's grace, to have faith and hope for the future.
I have a trio of crystals that I keep in my car to avoid accidents, etc. The amethyst is supposed to curb road rage and I think it's a dud, lol, but after 7 accidents (only 1 was my fault) in as many years and none since putting it in my car (4 years) it's staying!
I don't have a talisman or good luck charm, but those are super cute bracelets!
